Valtellina Superiore DOCG Grumello is obtained from Nebbiolo - "Chiavennasca" grapes. The particular sunny position, located at an altitude ranging from 350 to 450 m a.s.l. on sandy soil, allows excellent ripening of the grapes. Harvested in October, they are vinified following a maceration and fermentation process of about 10 days. After a passage in steel barrels, the wine ages in oak barrels for over a year. Subsequently bottled, it is left to rest before being marketed.
