Plozza IGT Elite 2016

Made from Nebbiolo grapes that have been dried out for three months - as in the Sforzato production - Elite is an absolute and total wine in its complex variety of perceptions, intense in the scents, which range from caramel to chestnut, from withered flowers to cocoa. On the palate, body, harmony and a long finish complete the image of a lush and clearly territorial product. A great wine for great moments, which is ready to drink in its youth but becomes unforgettable after years of refinement when the aromas become more penetrating and warming and the taste fuller and rounder.

Vinification: the Nebbiolo grapes for the Elite dry on wooden grates in the historical "Fruttaio" with regulated humidity and are vinified from the end of January. This wine was designed to be enjoyed with full fruit. That is why the aging takes place in small barrels of one hundred and ten liters, which has intentionally accelerated the maturation process and already brings great recognition to its youth. Match with red meat and with mature cheeses.
