The Boffalora Company is located in Valtellina Superiore DOCG zone on the Rhaetian side, in Contrada Balzarro (Castione Andevenno). Giuseppe is a small Valtellina wines producer.

The winery Boffalora is located at 400 ms asl, in Castione Andevenno, in Balzarro place. The vineyards area is approximately 22,000 square, about 70% of own property.

The company was founded in 2002. The name "Boffalora" comes from the name of one of the company's major vineyards that means "the blowing of the wind". In Valtellina winds are called Breva and Tivano; during the day the Breva comes from the Como Lake and during the night the Tivano comes from East in the opposite direction.
