This company is a small reality of winemakers producing wines of traditional characteristics that fully express the main properties of the Valtellina Nebbiolo Grapes.

The company "Le Strie" has its headquarters in the heart of the Valtellina: Teglio. It 'a small company of winemakers who cultivates directly its about one hectare vineyards.
The average production of bottles is currently about 6500.
All wines are traditional and they unambiguously express the full characteristics of Nebbiolo grapes grown in Valtellina.

The production of grapes are, on average, about 60 quintals per hectare: much lower than expected production rules but this is a necessary step for a quality wines production.
In the cellar, the company works in a traditional way: the Valtellina Superiore DOCG and Sforzato DOCG after fermentation in steel containers are aged in large oak barrels; the "Terrazze Retiche di Sondrio" IGT is vinified and aged in stainless steel only.
