Valtellina Superiore DOCG - GRUMELLO
It is produced in the northeast side of Sondrio (with a vineyard of 78 hectares) and it takes its name from the castle overlooking the valley (of the XIII century fortress).
Ruby red colour tending to the grenade. Perfume: intense aroma and subtle (the Brugnola gives a shade reminiscent of almond). Taste: dry and velvety. The Grumello, full of fragrance, is more tasty when made from grapes of well-defined area known as the "Dossi Salati”.
