DOCG Valtellina Superiore

The area covered by this designation extends from the town of Berbenno unitl Tirano in Valtellina, it is an area of ​​about 800 hectares of vineyards. On this territory have been recognized 5 Subareas: Maroggia, Sassella, Grumello, Inferno and Valgella bounded by well-defined boundaries, depending on the geographical area where the vine is cultivated.

In general, the Valtellina Superiore has a ruby red color tending to garnet, with a distinctive aroma and lingering over a dry, velvety and slightly tannic taste.
