Valtellina Superiore DOCG - SASSELLA
Made with 90% of Nebbiolo grapes and 10% of other grape varieties such as: Brugnola, Rossola, Pignola is produced with grapes of the area (extension of 130 hectares of vines) between the City of Castione and territory west of the river Mallero in Sondrio, impervious and a sunny, which includes the cliff of the Marian shrine of Sassella.
The wine is ruby red colour tending to garnet with intense perfume that exalts with aging. Harmonious and dry to the taste, slightly tannic, is aged for at least 24 months and with minimum alcohol content of 12%. It reaches a mature age after a four, five years and if it is kept in good conditions in cellar, it can be stored in bottled for a very long time.
