Barbacan is Angelo Sega and his sons Luca and Matteo. They collect nebbiolo from 3 hectares of vineyards in San Giacomo di Teglio in Valtellina.
In the vineyards they observe exclusively what the nature communicates to them: the melting snow in the mountains, the ripe hay in the meadows of the valley floor, the source of water that comes out from the rock.

Each message is for Barbacan team a valuable source that leads them to act as the predecessors have taught.

Barbacan team express in their wines the true spirits of the vintages, always different and always unpredictable. In each season They repeat ancient gestures pursuing the identity of the Alpine people, always linked to the cultivation of the Nebbiolo.
