Valtellina Superiore DOCG - VALGELLA

It is the wider area among the “Superiore” sub areas (with an extension of 150 hectares of vines in the Teglio area).

In the past, this red wine was largely used for export in neighbouring Switzerland. Its name derives from the Latin Vallicula, namely Vallicella. Initially differs from other sub area, while showing a well decided, for a certain softness which ensures an identical bound for the aging.

The Valgella wine has a delicate perfume, its taste is dry, smooth and round. Fresh flowers make it feel welcome even younger.
