Rupi del Nebbiolo CREAZIONE Valt.Superiore DOCG

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo

Vineyards: vineyards facing south, south-east in the municipality of Bianzone, near Tirano.

Vinification and Aging: grapes are harvested by hand and put into boxes of 10 kg, then they are stemmed in the same day. Fermentation by maceration for 10 days, just after the racking, it begins the aging in oak french barrels for two years.

The wine: red garnet; hints of ripe fruit; full-bodied and very harmonious; tannic with good persistence on the palate.

The name comes from the happy meeting between the Nebbiolo grapes from a late harvest with those grapes that are dried for the Sforzato.
The result is a wine for meditation and for special occasions: a true "Creation" ("Creazione" in Italian).

Analytical data: Alcohol 13.5; total acidity 5 g / l.
Optimum keeping: 5-7 years in bottles stored horizontally in cool, dark conditions.

Food Matching: Valtellinesi and game dishes.
