SFORZATO di Valtellina DOCG - Alfio Mozzi

The Nebbiolo grapes of this Sforzato lying for about three months in the well ventilated fruit container before being crushed.
This is a Sforzato with a good aromatic concentration but without superstructures.

The aromas recall blueberry and talc, sour cherries, liquorice root and cocoa, with an inviting spicy touch.

The sip is gritty but not aggressive and the body surrounded by a vigorous tannin that balances at the end in an assonance between power and elegance.

Serving  in combination with a very rich meat dish, or our aged cheese as the Bitto.
