Ascesa Rosso di Valtellina DOC

Rosso di Valtellina Ascesa is a direct, sincere wine without too many frills. A pure Nebbiolo that has the taste of the “mountains”, that tastes of Valtellina.

GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo

VINEYARDS: Tresivio (SO), 480 - 550 m s.l.m.

HARVEST: manual in crates

HARVEST PERIOD: 9, 10, 20 October 2019

VINIFICATION: spontaneous fermentation without the use of selected yeasts, followed by a 15-day maceration on the skins

AGING: malolactic and subsequent aging in stainless steel for 7 months.
