Balgera GRUMELLO Valtellina Superiore DOCG

This wine comes from the Grumello area, an area located between the municipalities of Sondrio and Montagna.

Its grape variety is 100% Chiavennasca, the name with which Nebbiolo is called in Valtellina.

During vinification, soft pressing takes place, followed by fermentation with maceration on the skins for approximately 12 days.

The wine matures for 3 to 4 years in oak barrels in addition to a 6-month refinement in the bottle.

Pleasant notes of small red fruits that blend well with hints of leather and tobacco.

A nice wine to pair with all types of red meat, game, mature hard cheeses, with polenta taragna in particular.
