Bettini GRUMELLO Valtellina Superiore DOCG

Wine coming from an upper sub-area which takes its name from the Castle dating from the 11th century.
It is a red wine of great personality with good body and composition to be drunk from the third year after production.

It is advisable to keep bottles lying down when ageing.

Grapes: 95% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), 5% other local grapes (pignola, Rossola, Pinot nero).

Colour: ruby red tending to garnet.
Bouquet: fine, persistent, of hazelnut.
Taste: velvety, harmonious.

Serving temperatures: 18-20 °C.

FOOD MATCHING: it is an ideal companion for red meat, game, rich first couses as well as fairly ripe cheese.
