Bettini SASSELLA Valtellina Superiore DOCG

This wine is produced by the best known of the four sub-areas which divide Valtellina Superiore.
It is a red wine, whose prime characteristics develop already after two or three years.

It is suggested that bottles should be laid down in a cool place with a steady temperature for long ageing.

Grapes: 95% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), 5% other local grapes (Pignola, Rossola, pinot nero).

Colour: garnet red.
Taste: harmonic, velvety, strong and severe, with a slightly tannic aftertaste.

Serving temperatures: 18-20 °C.

FOOD MATCHING: it is particularly suitable for red meat, although it combines well with rich first courses and moderately ripe cheese.
