The Folini company born in Chiuro on 2008 with the aim of cultivating the vineyard with passion and the best care in order to obtain a wine that could explain these passion & skills.
"My name is Renato Folini, and I am a farmer. A term that for me identifies those who work and love agriculture and nature in all its aspects; as you can see from the list of pages, however, that of agriculture it is only the part relating to my work, the rest are all my hobbies: woodworking, the collection of "bottles", the pleasure of knowing wine, and teaching those who are perhaps not really experts the cultivation of the vines , from the small shoot to the harvest and the making of the wine, completely local.
I live in Chiuro, a small town in the middle of Valtellina (in northern Italy for the uninitiated, maybe there is also some foreigner who looks at my site ... you never know ...) known by "gourmets" for the various wineries, private and otherwise, and therefore for its wines.
I take this opportunity to thank all the people who were present at the realization (late, almost a midlife crisis) of my dream, to all the people who help me and have helped me in the various stages of processing the vine and during the various harvests. , my family and especially my wife who, in addition to putting up with me at home, also helps me in the vineyards and in everything I want to achieve.
